As of July 1st, 2019, OA Gallery will become The Galleries at Heartland Art Club. The current owners of OA Gallery have generously given the venue to Heartland Art Club. Owners Lisa Ober, M. Shawn Cornell, Marie Donato and Steve Morris will continue to manage the gallery for the Club.

Ober, Cornell, Donato and Morris have decades of combined talent and experience as working professional representational fine artists and gallery operators. They will continue to manage the gallery until Heartland has a staff capable of managing the day to day operations and art curation.

Over the years OA has been recognized as one of the finest representational galleries in the region and is now expanding its reach and impact nationwide. Located in beautiful Kirkwood, Missouri, the gallery offers a range of exciting work appealing to a variety of tastes and decors. The gallery has been a favorite of seasoned collectors and art lovers at every stage of their adventure.

Founder, co-owner and artist Lisa Ober said, “This is a natural next step for the gallery. Our mission has always been the same as Heartland’s mission. To offer our patrons the best representational art from the Midwest (and beyond) in a friendly and casual atmosphere, introduce our clients to quality emerging artists, and educate the public on the importance of buying art that is loved."

Exhibitions

Since its founding OA Gallery has provided the region with quality exhibitions with some of America’s most outstanding artists and some fun open exhibitions which have introduced us to some of the finest emerging artists in the region. Heartland Art Club intends to increase the reach of exhibitions nationwide with a focus on artists in the center of the country. The next exhibition Heartland Art Club’s First Invitational Exhibition:
A Survey of Excellence opens August 23, 2019.

Workshops and Classes

OA had a long history of providing top notch representational art workshops and classes. Heartland Art Club has already begun to build and expand that offering by hosting workshops with nationally recognized artists such as Paul Jackson, Barbara Jaenicke, and Dennis Perrin.
